Service Description

Macey's journey into functional medicine began in 2017 when she was diagnosed with her first of many autoimmune diseases, Sjogren's Syndrome. Displeased with the limited treatment options available through conventional medicine, she sought alternatives. Macey's mother discovered a functional medicine practitioner in New York who helped her address the root causes of her disease. After three years of lifestyle changes and following the prescribed treatment plans, Macey no longer had the Sjogren's antibodies present in her body. Thanks to advanced testing, implementing a clean diet and healthy lifestyle has become a lasting change that she now enjoys and promotes to help others find healing. Driven by her passion for functional medicine, Macey became certified as a functional medicine practitioner through The Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). Macey has undergone extensive training and certification through The Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner, IFMCP. Macey is the first certified functional medicine practitioner in Oxford, MS. These clinicians utilize a comprehensive set of evidence-based tools and practices, collaborating with patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique health needs. She is dedicated to identifying the root causes of her patients' symptoms, enabling their bodies to heal and function optimally. Additionally, Macey is trained in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). With a desire to serve Christ and others, Macey has participated in mission trips to Honduras and Africa. She also actively serves in her church by playing piano, teaching, and working with children. Macey has been a dedicated family nurse practitioner serving patients in the Oxford area at Ole Town Med since 2023. She began her career in Tupelo. Come see Macey and start your journey towards healing.
